At its 2023 Green Future Gala, NECEC gave a special Environmental Justice Achievement Award to Leticia Colon de Mejias, who is the Executive Director of Connecticut-based Efficiency For All, which raises awareness on the value of energy efficiency to our economy, environment, energy stability and our health. She has been a clarion voice in the Nutmeg State that the only successful transition to clean energy will be a just transition to clean energy.Accepting this award on her behalf was Gabriel Difelici, Efficiency For All’s Mental Health Coordinator and Assistant to Ms. Colon de Mejías.
